Thanks for dropping by our interactive blog and authors’ website. We are Dannye Williamsen and Greta Burroughs — two Scribblers offering books, some sweet and sassy attitudes, resources, conversation, and fun for the avid reader.

To learn a little about us, please follow our blog posts to discover some of our notions on reading, writing, and bypassing the norms established by “the experts.” These short pieces will give you an insight into what makes us tick.

We are in the third act of our lives and believe in telling it like it is. Some of our blog posts will be open-ended, allowing you to express your thoughts. Others will state our opinions, and we welcome everyone to comment whether you agree with us or not. [Please keep it civil. No lines in the sand, please.] Of course, with us being writers and this being our authors’ website, we’ll talk about our books, characters, and our little-known secrets behind the storylines off and on.

However, there’s more to Sweet & Sassy Scribblers than just the blog. The rest of the website will entice you to explore new titles in genres you may have never read before – women’s fiction, children’s and middle-grade books, science fiction and fantasy, thrillers and mysteries, as well as nonfiction topics such as well-being, spiritual psychology, along with selected poems and essays. Please look at our books and maybe try a few of them.

Today, we want to offer you various ways to follow us as we share our passion for the written word.
  • Please take a few minutes to bookmark our website so you can easily find us
  • Sign up on the form on this page, and we’ll notify you once a week about the new blog posts
  • Follow Sweet &Sassy Scribblers on Twitter and Pinterest.

And last but not least, we want to get to know you, our readers. Please leave a comment below telling us who you are, where you’re from, and how/when/why you became a book lover.

Thanks again for visiting, and we hope to see you again soon!

I will read forever because it lets me visit in my mind the worlds that I will never be able to see; it helps me put away the stresses of the day and relax into the rhythm of the story before me; it lets me bring to the surface and experience without regrets those feelings I hide away; it lets me re-experience the thrill of first love through someone else's eyes; it keeps my mind juiced so that it will never desert me; it is always there for me even when there's no one else. I will read forever no matter whether it is print or digital because the words will always call to me. ~ A Sassy Scribbler
